The Crossed Swords Logo, Meissen ... and Dresden

I don't think there is a company called Meissen.

The crossed swords logo (believed to be one of the oldest in existence) is a trade mark of the Sächsische Porzellan–Manufaktur Dresden GmbH (Saxon Porcelain Manufactory in Dresden Ltd) – generally known in English as Dresden Porcelain.

According to Wikipedia, "The production of porcelain in the royal factory at Meissen, near Dresden, started in 1710 ... Its signature logo, the crossed swords, was introduced in 1720 to protect its production ... Dresden porcelain was once the usual term for these wares, until the Higher Munich State Court decided in favour of the Saxon Porcelain Manufactory Dresden which alone was then allowed to use the name Dresden Porcelain."

The Wikipedia page from which I took the above extract is entitled 'Meissen porcelain'. But nowhere does it refer to a company with the word Meissen in its name; as the extract shows, both the full name of the company, and the commonly–used shortened form in English, refer to Dresden.

"Dresden" is a more correct answer to this question. You could argue that it's the only correct answer.
